It was brand-new, reasonably large and with all the basic essentials. My room included a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator. The personnel was nice, and the host too. The location was marvellous close to the beach.

This place has a stunning location just a 30-second walk from the beach, and the staff were excellent, making for a very comfortable stay.

Location: the hotel was short walk to beach, reef and tableland, North to Port Douglas and shop's. Loved the premium apartment we had with free wi-fi in the apartments. We had a lounge area and air conditioning in the room...

plenty of goodies for breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Clifton Sands Holiday Units. the room was beautifully clean and well-maintained, with hypoallergenic pillows for a great night's sleep. the staff was outstanding and ensured we felt right at home. the location was ideal and charming, conveniently close to many attractions in a lovely neighborhood.

Pool too small

During our holliday in Tasmania and Australia we have stayed in many hotel/rooms and cabins. Clifton Sands will stick in our memory as an appartment that exceded all our expectations. The appertment was roomy and clean. It had quality fourniture and both kitchen and multimedia devices (like oven, fridge/freezer, TVsets, stereo) were provided. And the bed made you sleep in a minute. It was nice to end the day with a drink on the balcony (that was directed towards the ocean), and enjoy the birds and bats and view of the surrouding trees. Price/performance was excellent as the support one gets form the office.

Everything is good, great value, and overall a great hotel. the rooms are neat and absolutely fantastic with all the basic essentials. A microwave, an electric kettle, and refrigerator add a nice touch. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!

I had an absolutely great experience at Clifton Sands Holiday Units. the staff members were very hospitable and provided excellent service during my stay. It was nice to have friendly service throughout the property. I especially appreciated that there was no charge for laundry and ironing. it was a really good stay, and I have no complaints at all!

the quiet setting yet not too far from town. had everything we needed including washing machine. with only a very short walk to the beach and other attractions.

Nice place if you go for a long stay with your family. Close to the beach.

Not so good location for a week-end trip without a car. There's nothing close to it and a car is mandatory if you want to have dinner in the city or just enjoy Cairns. More than one hour in public bus (22km).

This hotel offers great value for money with its spacious and comfortable one-bedroom apartments. The rooms are well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen and full laundry facilities, perfect for longer stays. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the peaceful beach and there is a great restaurant across the road. The free Wi-Fi in the apartments is a bonus.

Nothing to complain about!

the location (close to the beach, the restaurant, the shopping centre; offers the possibility to visit Cairns and Port Douglas). the apartment was large enough for 2 people, with a great balcony viewing the ocean, where you can dine or have breakfast... very nice. more than that, it was a pleasant surprise to discover that we were only charged at the end of our stay (like usual in Europe), not on the arrival day (as we experienced in other hotels in Australia). we were very satisfied.
